Pecan Pie

Recently I was asked to make a pie for a community auction. So I said what kid. And the answer Pecan. Oh man, it has been at least 20 years since I made a pecan pie. Here is a picture of the result. I wonder what it tasted like. I wasn't able to attend the auction so I'm not even sure who purchased it.

Mom

I know mom's day is just around the corner. And I have nothing against Mom's day but I think we need to honor our mothers everyday. So here is a picture of my mom the last time I was in Iowa.

Here a cute little card that I am going to send to OWH. I used my Coptic markers to color the image. The background piece of paper is a wallpaper sample I received from a friend to see what I could do with it.

Yes I'm Irish

I know this is a little late for the March 17th holiday but I sent this off to a friend and wanted to be sure she saw it before I posted it to my blog.

The glitter around the edges are microbead from PWA. I also used their O'So Sticky tape. If you would like to learn more about the beads click on the PWA badge on my side bar. They also have a fun yahoo group open to anyone.

Glitter Gown

I was asked to make a birthday card for a girly girl and this is what I designed.

Raelin

Here is my youngest granddaughter Raelin. She was showing me how well she could ride her bike. Those blue eyes are going to be the end of some boy when she's older, they look just like grandpa's and his were the end of me.

Easter!

What a wonderful celebration. Today is the reason my life has changed so much over the years. Jesus Christ is real. He died for my sins and yours. Today celebrates that. He truly has risen.
I hope each of you has a wonderful Easter day with friends and family.
