OWH S&S Sketch #19

Happy Sunday everyone,

I hope you have all been able to attend church today and enjoy it as much as I do.

Here is my card for the OWH Stars and Stamps Sketch #19. I am planning on writing a note inside this card for one of our heroes. Hero you ask? Over at OWH you can get all the details of how this great organization supplies our deployed service men and women with homemade blank greeting cards to send home to their loved ones. Well, they also request what are called Any Hero cards that are written by people like you and me to these service people. Believe it or not there are some service persons that do not receive any mail so we try to fill in the gaps with quick notes to them....thus Any Hero cards. I think this image is perfect for an Any Hero Card.

If you would like to see the other cards in the challenge or find out more about Operation Write Home just click HERE.

See you soon!

OWH S&S Sketch #18

Hello Friends,

Can you believe that Memorial Day is just around the corner. Some say that is the beginning of the summer season. Well it sure doesn't feel like summer in my part of the woods. This has been the strangest spring.
It was cold and rainy last weekend so I decided it was the perfect day to make a card. This card is part of a challenge over at the OWH Stars and Stamps blog. You can find the sketch by clicking here.
Why not join the best group of ladies on the planet and make cards for our deployed men and women in the armed forces. It is enough to brighten even the rainiest of days.
So enjoy my card. If you decide to try the sketch leave me a link in the comments, I'd love to see it.

Don't forget this weekend is the big OWH Blog Hop. You will get a lot of inspiration, maybe win some blog candy and see some new techniques. It starts May 29th at 7 am PST.

Happy stamping,
Marianne
