Graduation Card

Hi everyone,
Here is a card I made for graduation. It was made totally with scraps. Don't you just love it when a card comes together with what is laying on your table. I saw this layout in a scrapbook magazine but I can't remember which one. I just loved it. The original card said something like friend on the triangles and forever at the stamped section.

I hope you enjoy it.

Here is a close up of the triangles. I cut the triangles on my Circut using the George Cartridge.

The letters were also cut on the Circut with my SCAL and vinyl. It made it so easy to add the letters to the triangles because they already had the adhesive on the back. I love cutting vinyl with my Circuit.

So let me know what you are making this summer.
Don't forget if you have any extra cards to send them to the best organization on the planet Operation Write Home.
Later,
Marianne

OWH S&S Sketch Challenge #23

Hello friends,
Here is my card for the OWH S&S Sketch Challenge #23. I like how all the colors went together so easily. I cut the circle with my Circut. I couldn't find a ribbon in my collection that I liked so I colored a white ribbon with my markers.

I used my Circut to do the Ilove you. I cut it out in white cardstock then colored with my coptic markers. I added the gem for a little sparkle.

If you enjoy challenges why not head over to the OWH S&S blog and join in. You can get there by clicking here.

Have a wonderful day.

OWH Memorial Day Weekend BlogHop

Hello blog hoppers,

If you are starting with me you just may want to go back to the beginning so you don't miss anything. Just click HERE.

If you are a cardmaker or wanna be cardmaker here is a quote from a family that has been touched by Operation Write Home...

I am writing today to thank you. I adore letters. To the point that my husband (now on his third deployment) and I have chosen them as our source of communication. We both love holding pieces of each other in our hands, and we have passed that love onto our kids. They choose not to Skpe with him, would pass on a phone call at times, but his letters -- oh how they squeal for them. My husband has lately been using cards from Operation Write Home. And he loves them; as do I. I can't thank you enough.
M.S.

When I originally read this I just wanted to sit down and make a bunch of cards. If this inspires you as well please go to the Operation Write Home for all the details on helping out.

So with that being said I am challenging myself to make a card for each comment left on my blog for this hop.

Here is my card. I think M.S. and her family would love receiving this patriotic miss you card.

Here is a close up of the flower. I curve it a bit with my pen and added foam tape to pop it off the card.

Stamps: Flower CTMH, Miss You The Paper Company Studio
Copic markers, CTMH stamp pads
Ribbon: Offray

To continue on with the hop please click here to check out the great card Corinna has for us.
Thank you for stopping by and have a safe and fun weekend. Thank you dad and all the other vets that have serviced us in the past.
Thank you all our service men and women around the world. You guys rock!

Hi everybody,

Well over at Stars and Stamps the midweek throwdown is happening. The theme is Rainy Day. It is anything but rainy here in central Washington. In fact we are to see weather in the 80's today.

Anyway, click here to see all the details. Plus you will find a link there from *Wink*Wink Ink for a limited time free digi stamp. There will even be a prize. So why not go get the digi stamp and enter the Throwdown.

Here is my card....
I hope your day is sunny today as well but if it's not stay inside and stamp some cards for Operation Write Home.

Cool Cat

Hello,

Today I colored a digi image for today's card. If you haven't tried digi stamps there are many places that have free downloads of images for you to try.

In this case I used my copic markers. The ice cubes were filled in with dimensional adhesive. I think it is a fun and colorful card.

Happy stamping,
Marianne

More Post it Notes

Hello friends,

here are a couple more post it notes that I made recently.
I needed one for a male and it took sometime and digging through my stash to come up with this one. I used my Circut Expression to cut the stars. I really don't know what I would do without it.

The second one was for another worker - I think you can probably guess it is for a female :)
Have a wonderful Saturday. Thanks for stopping by.
