Beaded Pencil Cup

Hi,

Well today I thought I would share with you something I made sometime ago. I love this pencil cup as you can tell I have some of my crafting tools inside.

I used PennyWise Arts beads and tape. If you like using microbeads you won't find a better place to buy them than at PWA. Use the blinkie on the right to take you to their website.

Operation Write Home

Over the weekend I made more cards to send into Operation Write Home. This organization has truly become one of ministries. Besides praying for our troops I am able to send a little piece of myself to them. Won't you join me. Click on the blinkie along the right of my blog to take you to the website.

Organ Pipes

Hi everybody.
I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday.

A few days ago I wrote about attending Bible Study Fellowship.

I could not resist taking this picture. I haven't heard the organ play but aren't these beautiful. They remind me of a time when as a young girl I was at mass and the organ was the main instrument in the church. Not that I like organ music, it reminds me of Vicent Price and spooky movies from that time period. I know wierd but it just did.

I hope you enjoy the picture.

Cool Cat

Hello,

Today I colored a digi image for today's card. If you haven't tried digi stamps there are many places that have free downloads of images for you to try.

In this case I used my copic markers. The ice cubes were filled in with dimensional adhesive. I think it is a fun and colorful card.

Happy stamping,
Marianne

Sweetie

Hello again,

Today I have another card I made for OWH. I love the color combination in this pattern paper.

Here's another plea to look through your cards and see what you can send to OWH. Let's support our troops by doing what we love making cards. The link is on the right side bar.

Thanks for your help.

Missing You

Here is a cute card I made of OWH. I know the missing you cards are probably one of the most popular beside love cards. Why don't you make some cards and send them to OWH. You will find the link on the right sidebar.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

Thinking of You Card

Hello friends,

Here is a card I made for a friend to let her know I was thinking of her.

This was a fun card because everything fell in place the first time. I love it when that happens.

Here is a close up of the tiles that make the background matting of the card.

Finally, here is a side view showing the layering and the wonderful microbeads on the flower.
Please be sure to check out PennyWiseArts here for the best prices on O'So Sticky tape and beads that were used on this card.

Please stop back soon for more fun paper crafts.

More Post it Notes

Hello friends,

here are a couple more post it notes that I made recently.
I needed one for a male and it took sometime and digging through my stash to come up with this one. I used my Circut Expression to cut the stars. I really don't know what I would do without it.

The second one was for another worker - I think you can probably guess it is for a female :)
Have a wonderful Saturday. Thanks for stopping by.

BSF

Hello again,

Well my Monday nights are spent at Bible Study Fellowship. What a program they have. If you have any questions about the bible or how to study it this is the place to be. In my area they have orientations on the first Monday of the month. You must attend an orientation before you can be assigned to a small group that you will study with. They are open to all religions or to the person that knows nothing but is interested in learing. They do have a website located here that will tell you where their is a meeting near you. This is my first year at BSF but I plan on returning again next year, it is life changing.

Teal Butterfly

Hi friends,

I hope you are having a wonderful Monday.

I am attaching two photos today.

Here is a card I made for a friend that is recovering from an operation.

The butterfly is covered with hole less beads from Penny Wise Arts. You will find their website here. Suzanne and Brian offer the best prices in hole less beads and O'So Sticky tape. They have a really fun Yahoo group where we exchange all types of ideas and just life in general.

If you have any questions please let me know.

I hope you get time to create today.

Post It Note Holders

Hello everyone,
I was asked to make some little gifts for a friend to give to her co-workers. So I did! I made a post it note holder and matching pen. Unfortunately, the pens did not photograph well.

I made a few others that I will show later. These were so easy to make and I used up several pieces from my overflowing scrap pile. The report from the recipients were they just loved them.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

Missing in Action

Hello everyone.

Happy New Year.

I know I have been gone for several months and I am sorry I was not able to get online to let you all know I was alright. I have been very busy working 3 jobs. Now that the new year has started, just like many of you, I am trying to change some of my habits.

I hope to begin loading something on my blog several times a week. So... I will begin today with this pile of cards.

I made these for Operation Write Home. It is an organization that touches my heart because I know several wonderful people in our armed services. It is also a way I can honor my father and maybe many of yours that served our country in the past.

If you are interested in helping click here to be takent to the OWH site.
