Thank You Dixie Challenge

Hello everyone,

This week we challenge you to make Thank You Cards in honor of our friend and shipper Dixie for our heroes to send home to their family and friends! Dixie has passed on her duties as an Operation Write Home Shipper to Caro after serving for two years - and we wanted to do something special in her honor to say THANKS for all her hard work and dedication!

If you want to see the other Thank You cards just click here.

Today is the last day to make a charitable donation for 2011.
Have a wonderful and safe New Years eve,
Marianne

OWH Skip - Let's Start the Weekend!

Hello Everyone,

If you came here from Kate's great blog you are in the right place. If you just happened upon this blog you will want to start at the beginning of the OWH Skip here.

I am using the Hero Arts OWH stamp set called All The Time (CL584) and the OWH Sketch 98.
This set has two great clock images and several sentiments that are perfect of our heroes cards.

Sketch #98

OWH is giving away one of each of the Hero Arts stamp sets, and the 3 winners will be picked from all comments on all the blogs in the skip - the more blogs you comment on, the more entries you have! Winners will be drawn Sunday night. So be sure to visit all the blogs to increase your chances.

The next stop is the amazing Samantha.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you find some great inspiration for card making this weekend. If you are new to Operation Write Home and want more information just click here.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

OWH ODBD December Challenge: Get Sentimental and Sketch #6

Hello Friends,

Just wanted to mix it up a little. These cards cover two things the self challenge of making a card for each OWH sketch and the ODBD December Challenge: Get Sentimental. The great thing about the ODBE challenge is....they are giving away 2 - $25 gift certificates for two randomly entered cards and they are donating shipping to OWH. You can find all the details here.

So I need to tell you about this sentiment. It is a 1" stamp from Close to My Heart that simply says I Love You and I just stamped it at different angles. I think Sandy thinking outside the box is rubbing off on me.

Wishing you happiness,
Marianne
