OWH S&S Sketch Challenge #23

Hello friends,
Here is my card for the OWH S&S Sketch Challenge #23. I like how all the colors went together so easily. I cut the circle with my Circut. I couldn't find a ribbon in my collection that I liked so I colored a white ribbon with my markers.

I used my Circut to do the Ilove you. I cut it out in white cardstock then colored with my coptic markers. I added the gem for a little sparkle.

If you enjoy challenges why not head over to the OWH S&S blog and join in. You can get there by clicking here.

Have a wonderful day.

I finally did it. I have made a card for every comment left on my blog during the OWH Stars and Stamps Memorial Day blog hop. I had 77 comments. I turned in my cards directly to Sandy on Saturday during a cardmaking party. It was such a pleasure to meet her in person and meet so many other wonderful cardmakers. I will be sharing pictures from the party later.

I hope you all have a wonderful week.

Hi everybody,
I just love this color combination. I was inspired by the irises outside my window. I can't do a good a job as God did in making the real thing but I like what I did. I will be sending this card into OWH to send to deployed soliders. If you want more information on how you can join us click on the image onmy sidebar.

Gina K Designs Christmas Challenge

Hello everyone,
I am so glad to be home from the women's' retreat. It was wonderful but there is nowhere like your own bed to sleep in.
While I was away I learned my name was drawn for the Christmas Challenge to win a free stamp set. Gina K is so generous and gives away many stamp sets every week. If you have been to Stamp TV be sure to click on the icon in my side bar.

Ok here is my card.

So I have one Christmas card done (lol). How many do you have done?

Thank You Card

Hi everybody,

Thanks for stopping by today.
I have included a card today that I am sending to a new special friend. I hope you enjoy it.

With this picture you can see I used 5 layers of petals. 3 large size and two small sized.

I wanted to show you a close up of the flowers. I used the Cuttle Bug embossing folder Swiss Dots to add some texture to my flowers. If you notice over in the right hand corner of the pattern paper the flowers and leaves have dots so I thought this would be a great way of tying in the paper as well.

So what do you think?
You won't see anything more from me this week I am taking a trip to Canon Beach Conference Center on Friday. I hope it is nice weather that day so I can walk the beach.
Have a great weekend everyone.

OWH S&S Sketch #19

Happy Sunday everyone,

I hope you have all been able to attend church today and enjoy it as much as I do.

Here is my card for the OWH Stars and Stamps Sketch #19. I am planning on writing a note inside this card for one of our heroes. Hero you ask? Over at OWH you can get all the details of how this great organization supplies our deployed service men and women with homemade blank greeting cards to send home to their loved ones. Well, they also request what are called Any Hero cards that are written by people like you and me to these service people. Believe it or not there are some service persons that do not receive any mail so we try to fill in the gaps with quick notes to them....thus Any Hero cards. I think this image is perfect for an Any Hero Card.

If you would like to see the other cards in the challenge or find out more about Operation Write Home just click HERE.
See you soon!

S&S Color Challenge: Pot of Gold

Hello everyone,

Here is my card for the challenge over at OWH Stars and stamps.
We were challenged to use gold on our cards. I used gold tape around my image. It was too bright for my tastes so I toned it down a little with alcohol reinkers. If you would like to participate or see the other entries just click HERE.

I hope you are having a wonderful day. It was actually warm and sunny today.
I didn't take advantage of it because I was having too much fun stamping!
Enjoy the rest of your night.

S&S Blog Feature & More

Hi everyone,
I wanted to let you all know I was featured on the Stars and Stamps blog as their featured cardmaker in May. If you would like to see the post just click here.

I had the best time last night at Giovana's house making wonderful cards. And what a surprise in walked a person I knew but had lost contact with. God is so good in bringing people into your lives that you need at that moment. I meet Giovana online from her blog you really should check it out.

I will be posting a new card later today.
Thanks for stopping by.
