VCMP & ODBD September Challenge

Hi everyone,

If you are a follower I apologize for the absence in posting. But something very special is happening this Labor Day weekend. Operation Write Home is having a V (virtual) C (card) M (making) Party, it is the sendoff for a month long birthday party celebrating becoming a non profit. To find out all about it click here.

Below is my card for the first challenge. Angie Crockett from Our Daily Bread Design Team challenged us to "create cards which include either a Scripture verse, or an uplifting quote or sentiment. "
You'll want to click here to see the challenge for yourself and a chance to win a $25 gift certificate.

Here is a close up of the background paper. I was stamping with several girlfriends and we had fun doing an older technique. It is making marbleized paper with shaving cream. It was so fun just getting messy. Thank you Miss Faye for letting us use your table to make our designs.

Now go check out all the challenge cards at the link above.
I am working on the church remodel later today so I don't know how many challenges I'll get done today but plan on playing along tonight and tomorrow.

Have a blessed day,
Marianne
